Why does Magnesium tingle/itch when applied?

Why does magnesium oil tingle?
Magniesum oil can cause a tingly/itchy sensation when applied. This is caused by the reaction of the natural PH in the magnesium and the PH in our skin upon absorption. The more you use the magnesium, the higher your levels will become, this will subside the tingly sensation. We suggest applying to the bottoms of your feet first - check for any open wounds as this will sting if it comes into contact. When applying to your body you can rub a natural moisturiser over the top, this will also subside the tingly sensation, should it bother you.
For babies and young children we recommend our KIDS MAGNESIUM OIL, this is a diluted oil. We also recommend our MAGNESIUM FLAKES used in your babies and child’s bath, every bath! This will cause no tingly sensation and is by far the safest and easiest way to boost their magnesium levels. (Hello goodnights sleep & good bye growing pains!)
